Welcome !And thanks so much for visiting. This website was an idea I had when I had envisioned my family and friends in their golden or so called retirement years. They would be living in far off places all over the globe and then I thought a website like this could be useful! But to date, I have done really nothing with this website, so (!) I will just wait and see :) Are you a "Genius in the Making?" .... Are you expressing yourself, creating something meaningful, doing something that simply makes you feel good? Calling all Artists, Poets, Writers, Carvers, Dog Walkers, House Cleaners, Crafters, anyone coming into their passion and spirit and creative juices is welcome to share their products or ideas on this site :) All that is required is an honest desire to be a part of a community who enjoys connecting with others. Although another prerequisite might be : the ability to have a great big desire to laugh your way through life because you are filling up with an increasing sense of peace and freedom :) I make one of kind jewelry pieces, (unless otherwise stated) and my customers love them ! And, they get a lot (!) of compliments !! I know that I feel very honoured, to see my 'creations' being worn by someone on stage or when I hear they are being sent to another country as a gift, or they are going as far away as Thailand to be worn at a wedding ! But I'm also in awe of published books and daring revelations and recycled garden creations and sometimes, things made out of nothing at all :) So please enjoy this store as it grows. I will be picking up the trail of either artists in the making, or geniuses coming out into the light, and I will invite them to use this store for their own benefit and for yours :) Oh, and a little background story. I used to make jewelry in the 70's but hadn't touched the idea for decades. But a few years ago I happened to give a Reiki session to a an artistic friend and afterwards as a surprise thank you gift, she gave me a unique handmade necklace that stayed on by folding it over. Well, I was so worried that that necklace would never stay on, I didn't wear it for months ! But finally, I did, and boy was I surprised to see that it stayed on perfectly, and was held in place quite easily by the clever use of weights. I was impressed and set out to make one on my own and I haven't been able to quit since. They are light and so flexible because you can change the spot that you fold it over to fit your neckline. Is that not awesome or what ?!
Love, Janice Lesley
